COMMITTEE DROPS BILL TO ALLOW CONVERSION THERAPY FOR LGBTQ

The Virginia Senate Education and Health Committee narrowly voted to kill a bill related to the LGBTQ community dealing with prevention of "conversion therapy" for those wanting to change their sexual orientation.  The bill was defeated by Republicans on the committee, as it could have potentially "prohibit members of religious communities from counseling youths".  VAIB stands against this bill, as it could potentially strip the rights of Pastors or other religious counselors from Biblically counseling someone under the age of 18.  Read more here:
