GA SENATE PASSES BILL PROTECTING FAITH-BASED ADOPTION AGENCIES

The Georgia Senate has approved a bill protecting faith-based adoption agencies who refuse service based upon their religious convictions.  S.B. 375 states "a child-placing agency may decline to accept a referral for foster care or adoption services under a contract with the department based on the child-placing agency’s sincerely-held religious beliefs".  VAIB continues to fight for Christian organizations in cases such as this to conduct business based upon their faith-based convictions.  Read more here:
