IOWA ADVANCES RELIGIOUS LIBERTY BILL

Iowa State Bill 3171 has been proposed in an effort to "prohibit the government from burdening the free exercise of religion without a compelling interest".  However, opponents of the bill claim that such a bill will hurt the economy, especially given the upcoming NCAA Tournament in 2019.  VAIB supports bills such as this which protects Christian business owners to exercise their faith-based convictions.  Read more here:
