PRO-LIFE CLUB AT HIGH SCHOOL DENIED CHARTER DUE TO ITS “CONTROVERSIAL” STAND

A pro-life student club at a Pennsylvania high school has been denied its charter because the club is “too controversial”. However, other potentially “controversial” clubs such as the Gay Straight Alliance and Political Science Club received their charters with no problem. VAIB stands for the rights of students in situations such as this to hold club meetings that support and advance Biblical values in accordance with their freedom of religion as guaranteed by the First Amendment.
