VA HOUSE PANEL STOPS FIVE LGBT NONDISCRIMINATION BILLS

A Virginia House panel failed to pass legislation intended to prevent discrimination in the areas of housing and employment against LGBT individuals.  Opponents of the bills, however, pointed out that the legislation could provide real trouble for religious institutions such as colleges who would then be forced to provide housing for homosexual couples.  VAIB opposed those bills to protect the religious freedoms of Christian organizations who do not want to violate their conscience regarding homosexual matters.  Read more here:
