Parents in Rockland, CA recently had their say during a school board meeting to voice their concern over a book that was read to the entire class about transgenderism. The book was given to the teacher by a transgender kindergarten student, and she saw no harm in reading it to the class. However, upon finding out what took place, parents were upset. "It's really about the parents being informed and involved and giving us the choice and rights of what's being introduced to our kids, and what time" said a concerned parent. VAIB stands for the rights of parents in directing the education of their children according to their beliefs.
