POEM SENT HOME TO STUDENTS IN GEORGIA COMPARES GOD TO A MYTHICAL UNICORN
Released: Wednesday, September 20, 2017
Parents in Georgia are outraged after their middle school students were forced to read a poem likening God to a mythical creature. The poem contained lines such as “God is like a mythical creature, a unicorn with silver blood". After receiving complaints, the principal and school board were very apologetic. “This was a mistake. In no way whatsoever would we want to defame God or go anywhere in that direction at the school,” stated the principal. VAIB is encouraged at the response of the principal of the school, as much of our education system was historically founded upon godly principles.
