Urgent announcement regarding the annual meeting
The annual business meeting will be held on Thursday, September 22, as scheduled at Lakeside Baptist Church, 447 Dalewood Ave, Salem, VA. It will begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude no later than noon. All pastors will receive an agenda and pertinent materials in the mail at least thirty days before the meeting.

The conference portion has been cancelled.
There will be no other meetings or speakers at this year’s annual meeting. Meals WILL NOT be served.

The VAIB Steering Committee apologizes for these changes but feels it necessary in light of certain disruptive activities since last year’s annual business meeting. The committee hopes these matters can be dealt with and concluded at the upcoming business meeting.

Executive Director Resigns July 31
“On July 19, I submitted my resignation to the steering committee. I want to thank you for allowing me to serve for thirteen years and ask you to pray for the steering committee as these men seek wisdom in leading the ministry and search for the next executive director.”
