The Desk of the executive director

In these times of social and political turmoil, it is comforting to know that we serve a sovereign God who remains unshaken by human changes or chaos. As the 2025 session of the Virginia General Assembly draws near, we are aware of the numerous battles ahead of us on your behalf. We anticipate facing many opponents who wish to enact their agendas into law. Yet, we are equipped with divine tools that are invincible—the power of God acting through His people.

Proverbs 21:1 says, "The King’s heart is in the hand of the Lord; like the rivers of water: He turneth it whithersoever He wills." This is more potent than any individual's agenda. We hold the scriptural promise that the King of the universe, the Creator of all, can and will direct anyone's heart to fulfill His divine plans.

VAIB represents your voice for Christian liberties at the capitol in Richmond, and you can be certain that your voice will be heard.

We ask for your prayers for the VAIB team—for protection as we travel to the capitol to represent you and as we update churches across the state about the General Assembly's proceedings.

For perception as we scrutinize legislation and identify aspects that could adversely affect our churches and church schools, and for wisdom in engaging with the legislators responsible for these bills.

Partners: Will you pray how the Lord might lead you to support VAIB's mission to advocate for Christian Liberty, both through prayer and financial contributions?

Provisions: We seek the Lord's provision for the ministry's needs. VAIB is not a political entity; we are a ministry dedicated to serving the Lord Jesus Christ by supporting His churches.

Your continued prayers are invaluable to us. Should you have any inquiries or wish to arrange a meeting at your church, please contact our office at 804-589-4200.

May God bless you in your service to our Master.
