Michael is native to central Virginia. Michael has been a pastor in central Virginia for over 30 years as well as a teacher of Constitutional law. Michael is a graduate from Carolina University of Theology and Carolina Theological Seminary and the Masters Seminary. Michael holds a bachelor's degree in biblical studies, along with a Masters and Doctorate degree in Biblical Theology and Ancient Biblical Languages.  Michael enjoys life with his wife of 30 years, Julie. The Lord has blessed them with 5 sons and 7 grandchildren. Michael is passionate about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the protection of Christian liberties that have been given under our Constitution. Lobbyist/Communications Liaison  

Melissa is an Indiana native and a graduate of Pensacola 
Chrisitan College and Pensacola Theological Seminary.
Before joining VAIB, she worked at The Home School Legal
Defense Association for over 10 years where she served
in a variety of roles including Senior Legal Assistant and Assistant
to the President. While working at HSLDA's legal department, she
monitored California's legislation on private school issues and alerted
the California constituency of any concerning legislation. Melissa is
passionate about freedom and the need to keep the doors open for
the gospel. Melissa loves to travel with her husband, John. When not
tracking legislation, Melissa enjoys her Boston Terrier, a cup of coffee,
